The Seattle Kollel is working to strengthen the quality of Jewish education throughout the Pacific Northwest. The Kollel’s rabbis teach classes in a variety of settings from Synagogues to Starbucks, and in locations from Vancouver, BC to Eugene, OR and from Port Angeles to Yakima.
The Rabbis who make up the Seattle Kollel pursue advanced studies in the afternoon, and run teaching and outreach programs during the mornings, evenings and weekends.
Programs are offered for Jewish men, women and children of all backgrounds and affiliations in a non-judgmental atmosphere. Whether a person is just learning the Aleph-Bet or is studying advanced Talmud; whether the interest is in the basic tenants of Judaism or in working through the deeper aspects of Jewish philosophy, the Kollel's combination of group and one-on-one learning can help people connect to Judaism in new ways.
